This site was produce in memory of Robert "Bo" Hansen, Jr, who's death could have been avoided with a more effective crisis intervention process. Robert "Bo" Hansen, who had a history of Schizophrenia, had a mental health episode where his mother had no choice but to call for help. She told a dispatcher of her son's mental health problems and asked whether Tucker Psychiatric Clinic, where her son was receiving treatment, should be called to help de-escalate the crisis, but this information was not delivered to the officers who arrived. On April 25, 2009, Robert "Bo" Hanson, JR, 31, died outside his home in the 11100 block of Luck's Lane, off Courthouse Road north of the Powhite Parkway, after two officers shot him in the chest.
